What is Christianity?

This set of pages tries to summarize Christian beliefs and practices. It is intended as an introduction to Christianity for non-Christians, and also as background for those who want to follow the discussions in soc.religion.christian.

Several of these pages are long. The longer pages are organized into numbered subsections. If you are a non-Christian trying to get a feel for what Christianity is about, you might prefer to go to the next page when you hit section 2.
