Review
Another love-triangle, Chal Mere Bhai is the story of two brothers Vicky and Prem who are close by heart.
The elder Vicky (Sanjay Dutt) is a serious, responsible and hard working businessman looking after group of multinational companies.
The younger Prem (Salman Khan) is carefree and aspires to be an actor. Prem enjoys being pampered by Vicky and grandma, but his father
Balraj Oberoi (Dilip Tahil) wants him to mend his ways.
One fine day, a girl Sapna (Karishma Kapoor) enters their lives. Sapna is Secretary to Vicky and normally gets too nervous in her
boss' presence. Prem also gets to know Sapna and develops a soft corner for her. Vicky gets hurt in fight and Sapna volunteers to
nurse him. The entire Oberoi family takes a liking to Sapna and wishes to see her married to Vicky.
Not knowing his younger brother’s love for Sapna, Vicky agrees to marry her. Prem, on the other hand, is caught in a fix over whether
to reveal his emotions or not. Who gets the girl in the end is surprise.
Chal Mere Bhai is sheer entertainment with some belly-churning comedy. Producer Nitin Manmohan says, “It is not a typical David
Dhawan film. Although it has some slick editing just like other David Dhawan films, there is a considerable difference as far as the
content of the movie goes”.
Shot in exotic locales the film is fast paced. Music is OK. The chemistry between Sanjay and Salman does work in the film. A song sung
by Salman and Sanju reminds us of Amitabh and Rishi in Naseeb
