Synopsis
Raj Kapoor's craftsmanship in filmmaking was conspicuous till Prem Rog. It was the medium of filmmaking that the showman
excelled in. Ram Teri Ganga Maili however, marked a departure.
Probably, it was age and changing times that got manifested in the film, for the focus more on the heroine's bare essentials, than the
beautiful and relevant subject of men sullying and polluting the river Ganga, seemed quite unnecessary.
Ravindra Jain's music was okay, definitely minus the spark of the music of R K's earlier films. Mandakini was launched as yet another
R K heroine with great fanfare. The actress could not sustain her initial success and gradually faded away from limelight
