Paneer toasts
Open Cottage Cheese Toasts.
Ingredients
200 GMS. cottage cheese (paneer)
grated
3 carrots grated
2 onions grated
1/2 cup cabbage finely chopped
1/2 cup spinach chopped,
boiled and drained
1 tbsp. Cornflour
1/2 tbsp. Oil
Salt and Pepper according to
taste
2 tbsp. cornflakes (cereal)
6 slices of bread
Advice
Just before serving only
spread the mixture on the bread otherwise the bread will become soogy.
Serve with
Tomato ketchup.
Method
1.Heat oil in a pan add
onion and stir fry for a minute.
2.Add all the vegetables along with salt , pepper and cornflour.
Stir well and keep aside.
3.Spread the mixture on each slice of bread, sprinkle crushed
cornflakes and grated paneer over the mixture.
4.Bake it in hot oven till the bread gets crisp.
5.Cut into desired shape like triangles, squares, rectangular or
eat it like this only if tooo hungry.
