Methi Ka paratha

Bread of wheat flour stuffed with methi

Ingredients

250 GMS. Flour

Prepare Mixture:

1 bunch chopped Fenugreek leaves (methi)

4 Green chilies, minced 1 tbsp. Coriander leaves

1 Tomato medium, diced

1/2 tsp. Chili powder

Salt according to taste

1tbsp.Ghee/Oil

Serve with

Serve hot with curd or pickle.

Method

1.Cook methi (fenugreek) with all the ingredients until dry and remove from the fire.
2.When the mixture cools add the flour with enough of water to form a stiff dough.
3.Divide this dough into small balls and roll each ball into a shape of a chapati, apply Ghee(clarified butter) liberally on the uppermost side of chapati and then seal the edges giving it the form of a ball, again roll out this ball in a form of a thick parantha.
4.Fry it like a paratha applying Ghee(clarified butter)/oil.
