Cheesecake
A simple no crust cheesecake with sour cream
topping.
Ingredients
For the Cake:
3 packages cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 eggs
For Topping:
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
For the Cake:
1. In a large bowl,
combine cream cheese, sugar, almond extract, eggs and salt. Beat until
smooth.
2.Pour into a greased deep dish plate.
3. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 45 to 50 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and allow it to cool .
For Topping:
1. Combine sour cream,
sugar and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
2.Spread evenly on top of the baked cheesecake and then again bake
for 10 minutes at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) to set the top.
3.Let it cool and refrigerate before serving.
