Paper Dosa
Crisp, flat rice & dal Tortillas
Ingredients
1/2 cup parboiled rice
1/2 cup raw rice
1/4 cup split black gram (urad
dal)
A pinch baking soda
Salt according to taste
Oil for cooking
Advice
You can also put any of the
stuffing's like paneer, potato or dal, according to one's taste.
Serve with
Serve with coconut chutney or
Sambhar.
Method
1.Wash and soak the
parboiled rice, raw rice and urad (moong dal washed) dal together for 4
hours.
2.Drain and grind to a smooth paste adding enough water to make a
batter of dropping consistency.
3.Cover and keep aside to ferment for 10 to 12 hours. Then add the
baking soda and salt and mix well.
4.Grease and heat a small non-stick pan on medium flame and pour a
cup full of the batter on it.
5.Spread the batter to get a thin brown dosa.
6.Fold in lengthwise and serve hot.
