Sabudana Vada
Doughnut shaped Sabudana mixed with green
chilies, cumin and Spices
Ingredients
1 Cup Sabudana
500 GMS Potato
2-3 Small Green Chilies
(finely Chopped)
1/3 Cup Roasted Peanut
(Groundnut) Powder
1/2 tsp. Cumin Seeds
Oil to fry Vadas
Salt to taste
Serve with
You can either serve them with
curd or mint or tamarind chutney.
Method
1.Soak the Sabudana
(sago) in 1 cup of water for 4-5 hours.
2.Boil the Potatoes and mash it to make a paste.
3.Add this potato paste, green chilies, salt ,cumin seeds and other
ingredients into the soaked Sabudana (sago) and mix it well.
4.Make small vadas (balls) from this and fry them into the oil,
until they
5.become brownish and fluffy.
