Mixed Green Soup
A delicious soup, rich in iron content
Ingredients
1 tbsp. moong dal (washed)
200 GMS spinach
100 GMS carrot
100 GMS radish
A handful of coriander leaves
7-8 lettuce leaves
2 large tomatoes
1 tsp. chopped ginger
1 chopped onion
100 gm paneer
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
1/2 tsp. butter
Some White pepper powder
Some mint leaves (phudina)
Salt according to taste
For garnishing:
2 tbsp. grated coconut
Advice
For preparing coconut milk:
Take 100 gm fresh coconut. Cut into pieces.Put into a blender with 1/2 cup
water and make a paste.Squeeze out the milk.
Method
1.Cut the paneer into
cubes.
2.Wash the tomatoes and all the green leaves and chop them finely.
3.Heat butter in a pressure cooker and slightly fry the chopped
onion and ginger.
4.Add dal, tomatoes and chopped green leaves and water.
5.Cook for 10 minutes. Cool and put it into a blender and crush
properly.
6.Sieve and put again on fire. Add paneer cubes, dry masalas and
coconut milk.
7.Boil again for one minute.
8.Serve hot garnished with grated coconut.
