Paneer Burji
The most popular paneer dish
Ingredients
250 GMS Paneer
5 Cashewnuts
2 Green Chilies
1 Capsicum
1/2 tsp. grated Ginger
1/2 tsp. crushed Garlic
2 Onions, chopped finely
1 Tomato
1/4 tsp. Garam Masala
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
1/2 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Red Chili Powder
3 tbsp. Milk
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
2 tbsp. Ghee
1/2 tbsp. Butter
Salt according to taste
Serve with
Serve hot with naans, paratas, etc.
Method
1.Heat Ghee(clarified
butter) in a pan.
2.For garnishing fry the cashewnuts, to a golden brown color, then
fry the green chilies in same Ghee(clarified butter) ,finally fry the
capsicum till tender. Drain all the three of them and keep aside. ( fry
all of them separately)
3.Now add ginger, garlic to the Ghee(clarified butter) and fry for
5 seconds.
4.Add onions and cook till pink. Add tomatoes and cook till they
are soft in texture.
5.Add all the masala and milk and cook for 5minutes.
6.Add butter, lemon juice, sugar and paneer. Mix well.
7.Garnish with fried cashewnuts, chilies and capsicums.
