Aloo Aur Methi ki Sabji
Combination of potatoes and fenugreek leaves
Ingredients
1 big bunch fresh fenugreek
leaves
3-4 potatoes
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. green chili paste
1/4 tsp. turmeric powder and
red chili powder
1 tsp. sugar
Salt according to taste
Serve with
Serve hot with parathas
Method
1.Finely cut and the
wash the methi (fenugreek) leaves.
2.Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
3.In a vessel heat the oil, add the cumin seeds and cook for few
minutes.
4.Add the potatoes, salt, green chilies and cook till the potatoes
are cooked.
5.Keep on stirring it so that potatoes do not get brown.
6.After the potatoes are cooked add the methi (fenugreek) leaves
and all the other ingredients and cook for about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
