Life, without feeling,
Is sky without stars
With feelings you swing,
Or your joy is marred.
Feelings work best when you control
No good, if these reject your intellect’s role.
Feelings can aid your motivation
Bring courage to face any situation.
Feelings may, also, bring you down;
Make you a coward or even a clown
Feeling is pleasure; feeling is sorrow
It is your own, you can’t beg or borrow.
Feelings bring out the best in man (or woman)
Feelings, too, make him worst as he can.
