Sun rose underwater today.
Illuminating the murky depths,
turning the blue abyss 
white, gold and green.
Suddenly the sky was the ocean floor
and the sun crawled along the corals and crabs.
Climbed its way up the Atlantic ridge 
and set somewhere in the Pacific, 
never to be seen again.
And all the life underwater felt the warmth 
created by the Sun 
it reminded them of when the Earth was still young, 
when their single celled bodies proliferated reproduction.
They welcomed the sight, 
rejoiced and enjoyed this one day 
the Sun rose underwater
